all about Super Junior


Super Junior


Super Junior (슈퍼주니어) is an idol group from South Korea. This group is formed by SM Entertainment. The group consist of 13. The members are Leeteuk as Leader, HeechulHangengYesungKanginShindongSungminEunhyuk,DonghaeSiwonRyeowookKibum and the youngest and newest member is Kyuhyun. This group debuted in 6 November 2005 as Super Junior 05 and it was only project group which planned to change the members every year and change the name to Super Junior 06, o7 and so on. But then after Kyuhyun joined in 2006, the group changed their name become Super Junior. Over the years, they have been divided into smaller sub groups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. Largely due to Super Junior's success as entertainers, other Korean entertainment managements began to train their music groups in other areas of entertainment, such as acting and hosting. Kangin and Heechul leave the group temporarily due to military service. Kangin in 2010 and released on 16th April 2012 and Heechul 2011 to 2013. Kibum want to focus to acting career and not participated in group's activities since the third album and Hangeng leaves the group due to internal problem with the company. So currently the number of active member is 9 members.
